Man who bit off ear in Kursk was sentenced to two years in prison

A 30-year-old man who bit off a part of his colleague’s ear was sentenced to two years of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony. This was announced on Thursday, December 23, at the press service of the Kirovsky District Court of Kursk.

It is also noted that during the trial, the convict paid the victim 800 thousand rubles for the moral damage caused.

The court found that the incident took place in October 2020. The attacker, being intoxicated, during the conflict threw a previously unknown man to the ground.

Then he bit the victim with his teeth on the middle finger of his hand, after which he again bit him in the area of ​​the left forearm. Later, the man bit off part of the victim’s left auricle.

Earlier, on September 2, the case of a road conflict in St. Petersburg, during which one of the participants bit off part of an ear, was sent to court.

The incident took place on September 16, 2019 on the Ring Road (KAD). The two accused were driving from Primorskaya Street to Parashutnoye Highway. The BMW driver did not make way for them. The defendants forced him to stop the car, blocking the passage, pulled him out of the car, beat and bit him.
