In Nizhny Novgorod, one person died, another was injured as a result of a fire in a residential building. This was announced by REN TV on Thursday, December 23.
The incident occurred in a house located on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street. A fire in a two-story building broke out in an apartment on the ground floor and spread over an area of 600 sq. m. The fire was assigned the second rank of difficulty. As the TV channel “360” notes, rescuers evacuated four residents.
It is known about one victim – a man. A woman was also injured. She was hospitalized.
43 personnel and 10 pieces of equipment took part in the elimination of the fire.
On the fact of the incident, the prosecutor’s office of the Nizhny Novgorod region began to check. The district prosecutor Ilya Mamonov went to the scene to coordinate the actions of law enforcement agencies and rescue services.
Earlier on December 23, a fire broke out in an extension with changing rooms at a dump truck factory in Saransk, 60 people were evacuated from the building. There are no people killed or injured as a result of the emergency.
