“We inform you that on January 12, 2022, an agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of Belize on the conditions for waiving visa formalities for mutual trips of citizens of the Russian Federation and citizens of Belize, signed in the city of New York on September 23, 2021, comes into force,” the statement says. the message of the department.

Citizens will be able to stay without visas on the territory of the state of the other side for up to 90 days during each period of 180 days, counting from the date of their first entry, RT reports.

On September 23, Russia and Belize signed an intergovernmental agreement on the abolition of visas for mutual trips of citizens of the two countries.

Earlier, on September 13, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that an agreement could soon be signed abolishing the visa regime between Russia and San Marino, reports the TV channel “360”.
