Pathogenic communications are a horrifying collection of attitudes / responses of silent violence most of the time: invalidating requests for support and understanding from children and / or adolescents or adults, under the pretext that “they are already big” , invalidate by minimizing the subjective painful experience of the child or adolescent thus blocking the expression of pain, loneliness or anguish, threaten with abandonment or punishment, criticize unproductively, question good intentions inducing suspicion, induce shame with humiliation, make unfavorable comparisons, etc… .it is endless.
In our culture, judging by Unicef studies of thousands of families throughout our country, (and in other countries) spanking children, “Just a chirlo” it is still a parenting method validated by 7 out of 10 parental figures surveyed. It is in that smallness, both of the children and of the resonance of those acts …“Just a chirlo”, that these violence are silenced and naturalized. They are only named when they stop being small and kill!

In the interstices of social ties there are also daily violence that they report. Injustices, impunities, loss of references, as a way of life in the big city.
Beware of the turbulence caused by parties and alcohol consumption,Violence can be detonated after so much frustration in the pandemic and cost integrity and even lives!
It is necessary in the bonds to try to have emotional stability; transmit with our behavior the patience, perseverance and confidence necessary so that we can promote the resilience of the child and the adult to recover from abuse. The brain can compensate and rebuild itself. It takes time and work. We can do it if we regulate our own emotions and beliefs, our anxiety, rigidity, demand, high expectations.
Let’s celebrate that we will all evoke the birth of a new year, let’s all give each other a world that is as collaborative, peaceful and safe as possible!
Children and adults will appreciate it !!! And we will continue the powerful fabric of our lives, taking care of our ties as citizens of the country that we will continue to build!
