In the village of Vozhega, two young children died in a fire in a residential building, a criminal case was initiated. This was reported on December 24 on the website of the Investigative Committee for the Vologda Oblast.
According to the investigation, the fire occurred earlier on Friday at 16:00. It is noted that a large family lived in the house where the fire broke out. At the time of the incident, a married couple with a young daughter and granddaughter was in the dwelling.
As the department explained, after the start of the fire, the adults managed to escape, and the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations who later arrived at the scene found the bodies of girls born in 2018 and 2020.
“The investigation will establish all the circumstances of the tragedy, as well as the reasons and conditions that led to the death of people. The investigation of the criminal case has been put under the control of the head of the Investigative Department, ”the Investigative Committee noted.
On the night of December 24, two fires occurred in Yakutia, as a result of which three adults and one seven-year-old child died.
