Izvestia obtained a video of an incident in a shooting range in the city of Tomsk on Friday, December 24, as a result of which two men were killed.
According to preliminary data, a regular visitor to the shooting gallery first shot the instructor, and then took his own life. The reason why he did this is being established. There is information that the man came to the shooting competition.
It is also known that the visitor to the shooting gallery was not convicted; in 2017, he was brought to administrative responsibility for breaking the silence.
Earlier on Friday, the bodies of two men were found in the Tomsk shooting club “Polygon” at 119/5 Frunze Avenue. A criminal case was initiated under Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”).
The prosecutor’s office has started checking. In the course of it, an assessment will be made of the compliance by the administration of the organization, as well as by the Center for Licensing and Permitting Work of the Rosgvardia Directorate in the Tomsk Region, with the requirements of the current legislation when handling firearms.
