Two people, including an 11-year-old girl, were killed in an accident involving five cars in the Novoanninsky district of the Volgograd region. This was announced on Saturday, December 25, by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.
“The driver of the Infinity car, a resident of Yaroslavl, lost control and collided with an oncoming MAN truck, after which there was a collision with Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Polo and Priora cars. As a result, the passengers of Infinity were killed, the residents of Yaroslavl – a 39-year-old woman and her 11-year-old daughter, ”the press service told reporters.
Infinity driver is hospitalized. Traffic police crews, an investigative and operational group are working on the spot.
Earlier, on December 24, a woman and her ten-month-old child crashed in an accident in the Sverdlovsk region, another person was injured. The 32-year-old Renault Logan driver lost control, after which the car skidded, and it crashed into an electric lighting support. The car then pulled off the road and overturned. The driver received minor injuries, but his passengers were killed.
