In the town of Shakhty, Rostov Region, a policeman rescued two local residents from fire. This was announced on Saturday, December 25, by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
It is noted that on his day off, policeman Dmitry Kuzin and his family were going to visit relatives in the city of Shakhty. Approaching their house, he saw that the porch of a neighboring building was on fire.
Running to the window of the building, the policeman saw that there was a woman in a smoky room, apparently in a state of shock. The cousin broke the window and helped her out.
“Hearing cries for help from the next room, the junior police sergeant returned to the smoky room and carried in the arms of a man found there who could not go out on his own,” the MVD Media portal quoted Volk as saying.
The rescued citizens were handed over to the ambulance team that arrived; at present, nothing threatens their life and health, she said.
In February, an officer in the Sverdlovsk region rescued two teenagers from a fire in an apartment building. He was on his way to work from lunch in a taxi when he saw smoke in the depths of the dacha village. Then, through the window, he pulled two girls 14 and 16 years old from the burning house, after which he left.
