As a result of a car accident in the Kursk region, three people were killed, including a minor, and four more were hospitalized, the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on December 25.
The accident happened on Saturday evening on the Kursk-Voronezh-Borisoglebsk highway. The driver of Hyundai Tucson collided with an oncoming Toyota Avensis and then crashed into a gazelle.
As a result, the driver of Toyota Avensis died at the scene of the accident. Its passengers – a woman and a child born in 2011 – died on the way to the hospital. Another ten-year-old from Toyota has been hospitalized.
Also, the driver of Hyundai Tucson and two of his passengers were taken to the hospital.
Law enforcement officers are checking. The circumstances of the accident are being clarified.
On December 24, a mother and her 10-month-old child crashed in an accident in the Sverdlovsk region, another person was injured. There was another minor in the car, who was not injured.
The 32-year-old Renault Logan driver lost control, after which the car skidded and it crashed into an electric lighting support. The car then pulled off the road and overturned. The man was returning from the airport in Yekaterinburg, where he met his wife with children.
