Investigators confiscated unknown drugs from the apartment of the nationalist blogger and founder of the Sputnik and Pogrom project Yegor Prosvirnin, who fell naked out of a window on Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow. This became known in the evening on December 27.
In addition, traces of blood were found on the bed. According to preliminary data, the journalist was stabbed before falling from the window.
The fall of a man from a window in the center of Moscow was reported earlier that day. It was noted that he received fatal injuries and died before the arrival of doctors.
A source told Izvestia that shortly before his death, the blogger behaved inappropriately, the neighbors had to call the police. At the same time, Prosvirnin on Monday morning complained to his wife on Twitter. According to him, having lived with his wife for six years, as it turned out, he “did not know her at all.”
The blogger was 35 years old.
In 2017, the Sputnik and Pogrom project, along with other nationalist information resources, was blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office for materials of an extremist and terrorist nature. Roskomnadzor later added Sputnik and Pogrom to the list of banned sites.
In 2015, Prosvirnin came to the attention of law enforcement officers as part of the investigation of a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Implementation of actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, publicly or using the media”).
