Former French TV presenter Grishka Bogdanov died at the age of 72. This was reported on December 28 by the agency France-Press.
“Surrounded by the love of his family and loved ones, Grishka Bogdanov died peacefully on December 28, 2021 to join his stars,” his family wrote in a statement released by the agency.
The cause of death of the ex-TV presenter has not been disclosed.
Grishka Bogdanov became famous along with his twin brother Igor thanks to the first science fiction show on French television. However, the brothers often faced criticism from the scientific community, whose representatives regarded their speeches as unscientific.
The brothers’ real names are Igor Yuryevich and Grigory Yuryevich Ostasenko-Bogdanov. Their father is Yuri Mikhailovich Ostasenko-Bogdanov, a Russian artist of Tatar origin, the son of Boris Bogdanov, a military cavalryman who died during the events of 1917.
