EMERCOM employees extinguished a fire in Krasnoyarsk in a hospital for patients with COVID-19. This was reported in the department on Wednesday, December 29.
“On December 29, at 14:34 Moscow time, a message was received about a fire in the therapeutic building of the Krasnoyarsk hospital,” the department noted.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, personal belongings were burning in the ward on the fourth floor, the area of the fire was 5 square meters. m. The fire was extinguished at 15:01.
“According to preliminary data, five people were injured in the fire,” the Emergencies Ministry added.
112 people were evacuated from the hospital due to the fire. Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that four people were injured in the fire.
On December 24, after the death of two patients in a fire that occurred in the intensive care unit of the N.I. A.M. Nichogi in Astrakhan, a criminal case was initiated. The preliminary cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical wiring in an insulated box.
The fire in the intensive care unit happened on the same day. Several dozen patients were evacuated. After extinguishing the fire, EMERCOM officers found the bodies of two patients.
