The winner of the competition of Marlene Dietrich look-alikes in the correctional colony in the Tosno district of the Leningrad region is the nurse Victoria. A creative show among the convicts was held in honor of the 120th anniversary of the birth of the German and American actress, as it became known on December 30.
“This actress is one of those people who have been an independent person in life. She inspires me. In some moments, she did not follow the fashion, she asked her. I am very impressed with her as a person, so I chose her, ”said the winner.
Eight prisoners participated in the competition, who were to choose outfits and makeup based on the actress’s photographs in order to maximize the image of the film star of the middle of the last century.
“It’s like a small personal achievement for me. Due to the fact that such contests are held in this colony, this makes it possible to develop here. This is very important for a place like this, ”added Victoria.
The girl admitted that she had once considered the option of working in a modeling agency, but the conclusion prevented her plans from coming true. In the future, Victoria does not exclude the possibility of making a career as a model, and next year she intends to apply to the university.
«I worked as a nurse and spent most of my time with my family. Next year I plan to apply to the university from here and get a higher education, ”Victoria shared her plans.
