Two children and two adults were taken to hospital after being poisoned with an unknown substance in an apartment in Kazan. This was reported on Friday, December 31, by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation for Tatarstan.
“On the night of December 30, the senior doctor of the Kazan ambulance station received a message about the poisoning of four people (including two children) in an apartment at the address Kazan, Kirovsky district, st. Mullanura Vakhitova, 8 “, – noted in the department.
As a result of poisoning with an unknown substance, two women born in 1952 and 1977, as well as two girls born in 2009 and 2013, were injured. At the moment, doctors have assessed their condition of moderate and mild severity.
Experts are engaged in clarifying the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, on December 27, in the city of Serdobsk, in an apartment of a residential building, the bodies of three men and one girl were found, who died, according to preliminary data, due to carbon monoxide poisoning. On this fact, the department opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing death by negligence to two or more persons”).
