It pains me very much that now he will no longer be able to personally share with me and with you a piece of his warmth, but I believe that you can see it in his films, ”he wrote on Facebook.
The Russian filmmaker was born on November 2, 1925 in Moscow. Graduated from the directing department of GITIS, the department of musical theater. He worked as a director of opera and ballet theaters in Odessa and Kiev. Collaborated with the Gorky Film Studio and Mosfilm. Also Gorikker was one of the directors of the series “Yeralash”.
The list of Gorikker’s famous works includes Iolanta, Autumn Bells, The Stone Guest, Under the Roofs of Montmartre, The Tsar’s Bride, etc.
