“Dear citizens of Russia, dear friends! The year 2021 ends, and very soon time will take us from the past to the future. All of us are now united by the hopes for the coming good changes. But we understand that it is impossible to separate them, to separate them from the events of the outgoing year, ”the Russian president began his appeal.

The President stressed that the most important thing is the ability to overcome all the difficulties of the outgoing year together. This helped to protect those who found themselves in difficult situations, to support older generations and families where children grow up.
“We have firmly and consistently defended our national interests, the security of the country and citizens. The economy was restored in a short time. And in many areas we are now reaching the implementation of strategic development objectives. Of course, there are still a lot of unsolved problems. But this year we have passed with dignity. The main merit in this belongs to you, the citizens of Russia. This is the result of your hard work, dear friends. Everyone in his place strove to fulfill his duty, to do not only what was in his power, but also much more, to help those who find it especially difficult. Many thanks to all of you! ” – continued the head of the country.
Putin noted that in such a difficult time as it is now, the spirit of creativity is very important, the desire to necessarily realize their personal plans and benefit society and the native country.
“And as we celebrate the New Year, we hope that it will open up new opportunities. We rely, of course, on good luck, but we still understand that the achievement of our plans primarily depends on ourselves. From what we prioritize, what we fill our everyday life with, how firmly and actively we get down to business and achieve concrete, visible results. They will form the implementation of our national plans. Their main goal is to improve the well-being and quality of life of people. Solving these very tasks will make Russia even stronger. And only together we will be able to ensure the further development and prosperity of our Motherland, ”the President said.
Putin paid special attention to family and loved ones in his New Year’s address. According to him, the desire to show your best qualities, openness and generosity is the essence and energy of the New Year’s holiday, when it is so important to warm parents with attention and care, to hug if they are around. To tell all those close to you how dear they are, what happiness it is when there is love, children, family, friends, the head of state emphasized.
“But the real New Year’s magic is that it opens our hearts to sensitivity and trust, nobility and mercy. And wherever you are at these minutes: in the circle of family and friends, in the squares of your favorite cities – everywhere you hear the warmest wishes. I am pleased to join them and I want to separately congratulate all those who are now performing their professional and military duties on the New Year. He rescues and takes care of the sick, is at a combat post, and ensures law and order. Work is not interrupted on transport routes, in a number of industries and life support services. Hundreds of thousands of our citizens work in these areas. Thank you for the responsible, important work for the country and society, ”he said.
Concluding his address, the Russian president recalled that a few seconds before the New Year, many families, including our compatriots outside Russia, will hear the traditional “Happy New Year! With new happiness!”.
