A man died on New Year’s Eve when fireworks were launched near Ryazan

On New Year’s Eve in the Ryazan region, a man was killed when the pyrotechnics were launched. It is reported on January 1 by YA62.ru with reference to a source.

The tragedy took place at about 01:00 in the village of Fedorovskoye, Zakharovsky district. According to the portal, the 37-year-old man died on the spot. It is noted that the fireworks hit him in the head. The man received injuries incompatible with life.

According to the source, the deceased turned out to be a police colonel.

The press service of the Investigative Directorate of the ICR in the Ryazan Region, in an interview with the portal, confirmed the death of a man. It is noted that a pre-investigation check is being carried out on the fact of death. Investigators also found that the deceased had come from another region to visit friends to celebrate the New Year.

Earlier, on January 1, it became known that in the Nizhny Novgorod region, five people suffered from the use of pyrotechnics in the New Year, three needed hospitalization. In particular, a 43-year-old man was burned with a Bengal fire on his hand.
