Perm airport Bolshoye Savino resumed work suspended due to snowfall. This was announced on January 2 by the press service of the air harbor.
“Perm International Airport resumed its normal operation from 16:00 (14:00 Moscow time) local time,” said the representative of the air hub.
Currently, arriving and departing flights are served in standard mode according to the time indicated on the online scoreboard.
The airport was closed at 12:15 (14:25 Moscow time) local time. Due to heavy snowfall, the services of the air hub switched to an enhanced mode of operation.
Deterioration of the weather is forecasted in the near future. Heavy snow will fall in the region with powerful gusts of wind.
On December 31, it was reported that more than 40 flights were detained in the St. Petersburg Pulkovo. The press service explained the delays by the increased load on the airport.
More than 200 flights have also been canceled and delayed at Moscow airports.
