The police began checking reports on the discovery of a mobile vaccination station hijacked in Tikhvin in the Leningrad Region. This was announced on Sunday, January 2, at the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The department clarified that the vehicle, stolen in November, was found in a forest near the NST “Lesnoye”.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. Law enforcers establish a list of persons involved in the crime.
The car was stolen from the territory of the Tikhvin hospital. The intruders were not stopped by the fact that the car was equipped with a tracking system and pasted over with bright inscriptions. Moreover, the law enforcement officers failed to establish its location earlier, since, according to preliminary information, the hijackers had disabled the tracking device in advance.
The cost of a mobile vaccination station was estimated at 4 million rubles.
The first messages about the detection of the car appeared on the network. Users shared a photo of a snow-covered vehicle, the numbers of which were identical to the numbers of the stolen car.
