A 10-year-old girl fell out of the window of a house on Mira Boulevard in Kirovsk. This was reported on January 3 at the press service of the city prosecutor’s office.
According to the investigation, the child fell from a height of 12 m as a result of an accident – the girl looked out from the balcony and suddenly fell off. In serious condition, she was taken to the hospital.
It is noted that at the time of the incident, the girl’s mother was at home.
The Kirov prosecutor’s office has begun an investigation into the incident, and according to its results, investigators will assess the actions of officials of the prevention system.
Earlier, on January 1, in Tver, a seven-year-old boy fell out of the window of an apartment on the fifth floor. The child survived as the snow softened the impact of the fall. Presumably, the child was playing in the room, climbed onto the windowsill and opened the window.
The regional ICR decided to conduct a pre-investigation check, and also reminded that in order to prevent accidents, it is better not to leave children unattended for a long time and not to put pieces of furniture close to windows.
