“15 people were injured, 11 of them were adults and, according to preliminary data, four children. We took the adults to hospitals, ”she told TASS.
The doctor said that two passengers were taken to the regional clinical hospital No. 1, the bus driver to the emergency hospital, and two more passengers to the hospital No. 2. Six victims were taken to the Elektronika hospital.
“The man, their father, himself took two children to the regional children’s clinical hospital No. 2. They were sent for outpatient treatment. As they say, the father also delivered two more children to the Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 2 on his own, ”the doctor concluded.
Earlier it was reported about 11 victims.
The collision of a shuttle bus with a fence happened earlier that day. According to preliminary data, the 38-year-old driver of the LiAZ shuttle bus lost control and hit an obstacle (curb stone).
Currently, traffic police officers are working at the scene, all the circumstances and reasons for the incident are being investigated.
