The suspects in the murder of a five-year-old girl in one of the hostels in Kostroma first raped and then stabbed a child.
As Izvestia found out, after the crime, 44-year-old Denis G. and 24-year-old Vadim B. hid the child’s body in a sports bag in order to get rid of the body later, but were detained by the police before they could anticipate their plan.
On the girl’s body, forensic medical experts counted many stab wounds.
The suspects in the murder of a minor have already been convicted earlier. Denis G. – for pedophilia, Vadim B. – for theft.
Local residents gathered at the dormitory building, where the investigative actions are taking place, on Wednesday night. Among them there are those who have come to express condolences in connection with the death of the girl, others demand the surrender of the suspects in her murder.
The suspects in the murder of the child were detained on the evening of January 4. The men confessed to what they had done. A criminal case was initiated on the fact of the murder under Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder of a minor”).
According to the investigation, the girl went for a walk on Severnaya Pravda Street on Tuesday, after which two men took her away and fled with the child in an unknown direction. In the course of operational-search activities, investigators found the body of the deceased in a room of one of the hostels in the city of Kostroma.
In the near future, the detainees will be elected a preventive measure.
