A woman with three children was hospitalized after visiting a swimming pool in Novosibirsk. This was announced on Wednesday, January 5, by the press service of the Novosibirsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the ministry, on January 4, a family with three children, as well as their relatives, rented a cottage for a day. In the evening, family members swam in the pool located in the guest house, after which all the swimmers developed a cough and malaise.
On January 5, an ambulance was called to the family members; currently, a woman with three children is hospitalized in a children’s hospital for medical assistance.
“The circumstances of the incident are established in the course of an inspection carried out by employees of the TFR department, the results of which are taken under control in the prosecutor’s office,” the statement says.
On January 3, nine children were hospitalized with suspicion of chlorine vapor poisoning in Omsk after visiting the Paradise Lagoon sports and recreation complex. The condition of three children is assessed as moderate.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Provision of services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life and health of consumers”).
