The number of victims in an accident involving 50 cars near Tula has increased to 14

The number of people injured in a massive accident involving about 50 cars in the Tula region has increased to 14 people. As the emergency services told Izvestia, those who applied for medical help did not have serious injuries.

An accident in the Tula region occurred earlier on January 5. It was noted that there were also children among the victims. They were hospitalized in a moderate condition. Four men and one woman were admitted to hospitals with injuries of varying severity. Four more victims received assistance on the spot, they refused hospitalization.

As reported in the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 118 cars collided in a day on five sections of the M-4 “Don” highway in the Tula region. Several massive accidents occurred in just half an hour between 12:30 and 13:00 Moscow time due to snowfall.

The traffic police officers are taking measures to eliminate the consequences of road accidents and normalize the movement of vehicles.
