One person died during a hard landing of a helicopter in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, a private helicopter with three people on board made a hard landing. This was announced on Friday, January 7, by the regional transport prosecutor’s office.

This happened 4 km from the Karagaikul settlement in the Blagoveshchensk region.

According to preliminary data, a private helicopter flew from Ufa to the village of Pavlovka. There were three people on board – a pilot and two passengers.

At the same time, TASS, citing a source in the emergency services, reports that as a result of a hard landing, one person died and two were injured.

Izvestia’s source in the Emergencies Ministry clarifies that it is an AS 350 helicopter with tail number RA-07219. An operational headquarters was created to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

The Ufa Transport Prosecutor’s Office has begun a flight safety audit in connection with an emergency landing of a helicopter. Rescuers, a transport prosecutor and investigators went to the scene.

The circumstances of the incident are being specified. According to preliminary data, a technical failure occurred during the flight. Versions of pilot error and adverse weather conditions are also considered. If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken.

On December 28, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case into the emergency landing of a helicopter in Udmurtia. The emergency landing of the aircraft took place at about 2:10 pm (Moscow time) on December 27 near the village of Azino, Zavyalovsky district. Before communication with the helicopter was cut off, the captain of the ship reported an emergency situation. As a result of the accident, the pilot died on the spot, the passenger received numerous injuries and was hospitalized.

According to Izvestia’s source, the helicopter got into a vortex flow. At the same time, the low height helped to avoid severe damage.
