On January 6, on the Abelmanovskaya Zastava Square in Moscow, an accident occurred with the participation of a passenger car, an ambulance and a tram following route 43.
As it became known to Izvestia, a woman who was on a stretcher in the ambulance died as a result of an accident.
According to the Moscow Department of Transport, the driver of the car did not let the ambulance pass, as a result of which it collided with a tram.
At the same time, as the tram driver told Izvestia, the ambulance was driving at high speed at the red traffic light and did not have time to brake in front of the tram.
The victim of the accident was a female patient who was inside the ambulance on a stretcher. Another female paramedic was injured and is now being reanimated at the hospital. No one was injured in public transport.
It is noted that traffic in the area of the accident is difficult. The details of the incident are being established by the traffic police.
Earlier that day in the Tula region on the highway M-4 “Don” there was an accident involving 50 cars. As a result, 11 people were injured, including two children. The injured children were hospitalized in a moderate condition. Four men and one woman were admitted to hospitals with injuries of varying severity. Four more victims received assistance on the spot, they refused hospitalization.
