Moscow, St. Petersburg, Grozny, Magnitogorsk and Vladimir are the cities with the highest quality of life. This is reported by TASS with reference to a study by specialists from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the analysis of life concerned only cities with a population of more than 250 thousand people.
So, the leader of the rating was the capital of Russia, the second place went to St. Petersburg, and the third – to Grozny.
Also among the leaders were Magnitogorsk, Vladimir, Tula, Kaluga, Naberezhnye Chelny, Belgorod and Nizhny Novgorod. The list is completed by Khabarovsk, Astrakhan and Barnaul.
During the analysis, the researchers took into account factors such as the level of income of the population, the propensity to migrate, interest in cultural values (theaters, books, museums), the condition of roads and the quality of public transport, the quality of medicine and education, general anxiety of the population, the prevalence of domestic violence and other.
The 15 best cities were also selected for each parameter. In particular, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Yekaterinburg were included in the top five cities with the highest level of consumption and material well-being.
Makhachkala, Grozny, Krasnodar, Sterlitamak, Kaluga are among the top five cities with the lowest propensity of the population to migrate in search of a better life.
The research showed the highest demand for cultural values in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Bryansk, Ivanovo.
According to residents, medicine works best in Sochi, Magnitogorsk, Moscow, Grozny, Lipetsk. The first five cities with the lowest level of anxiety in the mood of the population are Kaluga, Tula, Yoshkar-Ola, Kursk, Tomsk.
Data on moods and assessments of the living conditions of the population were collected using sociological research, data from Rosstat, the Bank of Russia and information from various open databases were also used, experts at the Financial University say.
Earlier, on December 29, the results of a survey by the analytical department of the Public Relations Development Company (CROS) showed that in 2021 Moscow and St. Petersburg became cities whose residents are most susceptible to problems and fears. In addition, the Vologda Oblast, Perm Territory, Crimea, Krasnodar Territory were included in the list of “disturbing” regions.
