Investigators of the Central Interregional Investigation Directorate for Transport of the RF Investigative Committee began an investigation into the fact of a hard landing of a helicopter in Bashkiria, as a result of which a person died. This was reported on January 7 in the press service of the department.
“An inspection is being carried out, all the circumstances of the incident are being clarified,” the department noted.
They explained that the hard landing took place on Thursday at 23:20 Moscow time.
The Izvestia source reports that the rescuers have already managed to establish contact with the helicopter pilot. Due to heavy rainfall in the form of snow, access to the scene is difficult. Work is underway to organize transport access to the crash site.
The fact that a hard landing of a helicopter took place in Bashkiria became known earlier on Friday. According to preliminary data, late in the evening, a private AS 350 helicopter with tail number RA-07219 made a hard landing near the Karagaikul settlement in the Blagoveshchensk region. It is reported that he flew along the route Ufa – the village of Pavlovka.
The circumstances of the incident are being specified. According to preliminary data, a technical failure occurred during the flight. Versions of pilot error and adverse weather conditions are also considered. If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken.
