In the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg, a man with a knife attacked visitors to a bar. This was announced on January 8 by a source of Izvestia.
According to him, on January 7, a 29-year-old man first smashed the Wild Duck bar, and then attacked the visitors with a knife.
Two casualties were taken to the hospital: a 52-year-old man sustained a thigh wound, and a 55-year-old man sustained a chest wound.
The attacker was promptly detained by law enforcement officers; he turned out to be a previously repeatedly convicted local resident.
Earlier, on December 23, it was reported that a man in Krasnoyarsk attacked a medic and two police officers with a knife. A woman contacted law enforcement agencies and said that her 32-year-old brother was beating up their mother. The police arrived at the scene and found in the apartment that the man was not himself, after which they called the doctors. During the examination, he sprayed a can of gas into the air and stabbed the doctor in the back. After that, during the arrest, the man stabbed the police officers.
