In the village of Kondinskoye, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), investigators are checking after the death of six people. This was reported on January 8 in the regional SU of the Investigative Committee.
“On the fact of the death of the inhabitants of the village of Kondinskoye, a check is being carried out,” the TASS agency quotes.
Specialists went to the scene to carry out operational measures.
According to Izvestia, there are no children among the six victims; according to preliminary data, low-quality alcohol was brought to the village.
One of the sources – Znak.com – reported that the family was poisoned by surrogate alcohol. It was reported that a mother born in 1969, her daughter born in 1989 and a man born in 1971, who drank a liquid of unknown origin, have died.
It is noted that three more bodies were delivered to the morgue, the cause of their death is being established.
Earlier on Saturday, investigators opened a criminal case in Tyumen after nine people died of methyl alcohol poisoning. It was reported that in the period from January 3, several people sold to citizens an unlicensed alcohol-containing liquid (methyl alcohol) with a vodka label “Springs of Siberia”.
According to the regional Investigative Committee, four suspects were detained, and investigative actions are being carried out with them.
In addition, employees of the department conducted an inspection of the scene of the incident, as well as searches at the place of residence of suspects and victims, an interrogation of witnesses is under way, and the necessary examinations have been appointed.
