ICP Hub Mexico has made progress with a study on Blockchain and Web 3 entrepreneurship in Latin America. The main purpose of the study was to understand various aspects that entrepreneurs face when starting to work on Web 3 and Blockchain projects in the region.
The initiative evaluated points such as the main challenges for entrepreneurs, investment strategies and techniques, education and regulations, among others.
The study found that one of the main challenges when starting a business is the lack of financing.with 40% of entrepreneurs choosing this option, followed by 30% who selected lack of technological tools, then 20% who chose complex economic conditions, and finally 10% who expressed strict regulations.
The study then focused on a second fundamental aspect for crypto entrepreneurs in Latin America, which is what have been the most effective strategies to undertake and face regulations from a triple fiscal, economic and compliance approach.
In relation to this point, the majority of respondents, with 90%, indicated that the best way to undertake and advance in the face of current regulations is to comply with the current regulations of each country.
Subsequently The study attempted to understand the degree of importance of education when starting a business.
At this point, the initiative showed that education is one of the most important elements when starting out, as confirmed by 100% of the votes of the participants in the study.
In the last point of the study, ICP tried to understand the main tools that entrepreneurs in Latin America need today to be able to start a business successfully.
At this point, most entrepreneurs agree that the most important tools for successfully starting a business in Latin America are funding rounds and technological resources, having been selected with 60% and 40% of the remaining votes.
The study concluded that lack of financing is one of the main challenges that entrepreneurs face today in the region. It also confirmed that complying with the current regulations of each country helps to advance the ventures successfully. It also confirmed that education plays a fundamental role when it comes to starting a business and, finally, that financing rounds and technological resources are key elements to be able to start a business successfully in Latin America.
