Rescuers put out a fire in an apartment building in Yalta

A fire in a two-story apartment building in Yalta has been extinguished. This was announced on Tuesday, January 11, by the head of the city administration Yanina Pavlenko on her Telegram channel.

Pavlenko stressed that now the administration will have to decide the fate of those who were left without a roof over their heads.

The day before, a message was received about a fire in an apartment building located on Kievskaya Street in the city of Yalta. The combustion area was 800 sq. m. 25 apartments were damaged.

Emergencies Ministry officials evacuated 27 people, including six children, and rescued one person. No information about the victims has been reported.

It is noted that for the possible evacuation of residents, temporary accommodation centers have been prepared in the Chekhov boarding house in Yalta and four buses from the city administration.
