The father of a 9-year-old student at Moscow State University declined to comment on her non-attendance at the session

The father of a nine-year-old student of the Faculty of Psychology at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov Alisa Teplyakova Yevgeny refused to comment on the reports of the press service of the faculty about the girl’s failure to attend exams.

“I don’t know what this is about. Can we stop spreading libel in the media? I beg you very much, ”he told Izvestia on January 10.

He noted that he would not comment on anything and did not understand what was at stake.

Earlier that day, the press service of the Faculty of Psychology said that from December 24 to the present, the student did not appear for tests and exams. At the moment, the faculty is investigating the reasons for Teplyakova’s absence from the winter session. Also, the press service noted that the university was unable to contact the girl’s parents.

The faculty also said that if the session is successfully passed, if Teplyakova wants to continue her studies, an individual curriculum for her will be implemented in accordance with the educational standard.

Earlier, on December 22, the faculty reported that the student had not attended any full-time classes since September 8 without good reason. At the same time, it was emphasized that the girl, upon entering the university, did not demonstrate any “outstanding knowledge”, and therefore could not pass the budget.

In turn, Teplyakova’s mother noted that the girl actually attended only a few face-to-face seminars “because of the threats she received.” The girl’s father wrote an application for admission to the faculty so that he could go with his daughter to full-time classes for her safety, but he was not answered.

On December 26, HRC member Alexander Asmolov sent a letter to HRC head Valery Fadeev, human rights ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova and child rights ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova with a request to suspend the “dangerous social and psychological experiment”.

The fact that a schoolgirl from Moscow passed the USE at the age of eight became known on July 9. She graduated from school number 626, passed the exam and received a certificate for the 11th grade. According to her father, at the age of seven, the girl received a certificate for the ninth grade, then passed the subjects for the 11th grade, but received the document a year later for technical reasons.

In August, it was reported that Alisa Teplyakova did not enter a budgetary place at the psychological faculty of Moscow State University. Her father said that the girl will study on a contractual basis.

On December 21, the girl passed the subject “Introduction to Psychology”. According to some reports, she answered the question incorrectly and, upset, ran out of the audience before the assessment was announced. The press service of the university noted that the commission was waiting for the girl to report the result, but her father Yevgeny Teplyakov “made a scandal.”

So the man attacked the head of the department. University employees called the police, but the conflict was resolved before the arrival of law enforcement officers. Yevgeny Teplyakov, in an interview with Izvestia, outlined his views on what had happened. According to him, the exam procedure was violated, and the assessment criteria were not announced.

The Department of Juvenile Affairs has begun an investigation into the scandal that occurred between the father of a nine-year-old student and university professors.
