Leonardo Bertulazzi, 72, is a former member of the terrorist group Red Brigadesresponsible for numerous acts of violence in Italy during the 1970s and 1980s. One of the most important crimes was the kidnapping and subsequent murder of the former Prime Minister of Italy, Aldo Moroin 1978.

At that event, the now detained was linked to the logistics of the crime, and held a high rank within the organization.

However, this is not the first time he has been arrested in the country, since it was captured in 2002, but there he had a refugee resolution that prevented his extradition at that time.
