Journalist and TV presenter Mikhail Zelensky died at the age of 47 on Tuesday, January 11, said Alexander Efimovich, deputy head of the Russia-Culture TV channel.

The circumstances of Zelensky’s death have not been specified.
Mikhail Zelensky was born on September 7, 1975 in Moscow. In 1992 he entered the Khabarovsk Medical Institute and the Khabarovsk Institute of Physical Culture. He had the sports category “Candidate Master of Sports” in figure skating.
In 1996, he entered the Moscow Institute for Advanced Training of Television and Radio Broadcasting Workers, taking courses for television and radio presenters. In 1999-2001 he broadcast the Vesti program on the RTR and Kultura TV channels. From February 2001 to February 2011 he led the Vesti-Moscow program. Since 2006, he was the presenter of the linear broadcast of the Russia 24 TV channel.
In 2015, Zelensky became the author of the documentary “Valaam. Salvation Island “. Since September 2017, he has been a columnist for the Russia-Kultura TV channel and host of the News of Culture program. He taught at the Ostankino Higher School of Television.
