How to register for the Monotributo, step by step

To successfully complete the registration process for the Monotributo, you must: follow these simple steps:

  1. Access the AFIP page: Enter the official AFIP website and look for the section ““monotributo”. Place the number of Tax ID and password to enter.
  2. Access to the personal menu: Select the option to start the registration for the Monotributo. The page will automatically redirect to the Single Tax Registry system.
  3. Indication of the month of registration: Specify the month from which registration will be made, inform whether activities will be carried out and invoices will be issued, and detail the occupation as employee, retiree, among others.
  4. Entering your address: Assign the corresponding type to the addresses registered by AFIP, such as the provincial tax address or the main activity address.
  5. Declaration of jurisdictions: Indicate whether you have income or expenses linked to the activity outside the main headquarters.
  6. Declaration of activities: Indicate the activities to be carried out, searching by name or AFIP activity code. Confirm the choice and relate it to a provincial activity if necessary.
