Banana pudding recipe with dulce de leche
This recipe will not take you more than an hour, and will yield approximately 8 servings.
Ingredients
- 120 gr butter (can be oil but butter gives it a special flavor)
- 170 gr sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 200 gr self-rising flour
- Necessary amount of pastry dulce de leche
- 50 gr walnuts
Step by step
- Cream the butter at room temperature with the sugar. Add the eggs one by one and the essence.
- Mash the bananas. If you like the pudding to be darker in colour, mash them a few minutes beforehand. Add to the mixture and then the sifted flour.
- Beat until you get a smooth mixture. Finally, add the walnuts. Line the base of the mold that we will use with baking paper to prevent it from sticking to the bottom as the dulce de leche tends to sink. My mold is 30 cm.
- Add 3/4 of the mixture, place the dulce de leche using a piping bag or spoon. Cover with the rest of the mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180º for approximately 40/45 minutes depending on the oven. Remove from the mould when warm and serve in portions.
