Pupils and school staff are evacuated to Yekaterinburg. This was announced on Wednesday, January 12, at the education department of the city administration.
“This morning there was a mass evacuation of schools in Yekaterinburg due to reports of mining,” the authorities said.
As of 09:00 local time (07:00 Moscow time), it is known about the evacuation of children and employees from 93 educational institutions.
The situation has not yet been commented on in law enforcement agencies.
On March 10, 13 schools in Yakutsk received reports of mining. The children were evacuated, the threat turned out to be false.
In February last year, schools in Siberia and the Far East began to evacuate students en masse from schools due to the threat of explosions. So, classes were interrupted in schools in Krasnoyarsk, Primorsky Territory, Sakhalin Region, Chukotka, Blagoveshchensk. The bomb threats turned out to be false.
