The world court fined the former program director and music producer of the Muz-TV channel Andrei Razygraev 5 thousand rubles for disseminating information harmful to children.
“Razygraev was fined 5 thousand rubles,” the press service of the court told Izvestia.
In addition, the TV channel itself was fined 20 thousand rubles under a similar article.
The TV channel and the ex-producer were charged with Part 2 of Art. 13.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the established procedure for distributing mass media products containing information harmful to their health and (or) development among children).
On June 8, Roskomnadzor announced that it would check Muz-TV for homosexual propaganda. The reason was the show “Prize MUZ TV 20/21. The Beginning of the World “, in which some male artists appeared in women’s outfits, and the singers Philip Kirkorov and Dava appeared before the public in a convertible in wedding dress coats, accompanied by half-naked men.
The department recalled that information promoting non-traditional sexual relations can be disseminated on television only after 23:00 and when marked “18+”. The organizers of the show have set the limit “6+”
On October 28, it became known that in relation to the Muz-TV channel, a protocol was drawn up on the promotion of “non-traditional sexual relations” among minors (part 2 of article 6.21 of the Administrative Code).
On November 17, the Basmanny Court of Moscow fined Muz-TV channel 1 million rubles for promoting non-traditional sexual relations among minors.
