According to Izvestia, Grigoriev came home in the afternoon of January 12 and found tied housemaids with two men in camouflage sitting next to them. They threatened the producer with a pistol, knocked him to the floor and began to demand money.
Grigoriev told where the savings are. The attackers took away $ 130,000 from a kitchen cabinet and € 50,000 from a desk drawer. Three pairs of Hublot watches were also stolen. Material damage amounted to almost 14 million rubles.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Moscow confirmed the fact of the appeal of a man born in 1958 on January 12, who reported an open embezzlement of money from his home.
“Police officers are carrying out a complex of operational-search measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident and arresting the suspects,” the department said.
Vasily Grigoriev was born in 1958 in Moscow, graduated from the film drama department of VGIK. In 1994 he launched an entertaining satirical television program Dolls on Russian politics. The show ran until 2002 and was popular with viewers.
