All schools in Saratov were evacuated due to reports of mining. This was announced on Thursday, January 13, by the press service of the region’s mayor’s office.
“The special services will have to examine a large number of buildings of educational institutions. Due to the fact that it will take a long time, classes in schools have been canceled, the parents of students are promptly informed, ”the statement says.
According to Izvestia’s source, the classes were canceled and the students were sent home. At the moment, schools are being gradually checked, a total of 136 objects, about 20 have already been checked, nothing has been found in them.
In addition, as the interlocutor clarified, the messages did not go to schools, but to the administration and the police through e-mail and calls. However, it is not yet possible to establish exactly where the information came from.
The day before, students and school staff were also evacuated to Yekaterinburg due to reports of mining. The list of educational institutions, the administration of which carried out the evacuation, included 151 educational institutions.
