Google Photos It is a service for store and share photos developed by Google. It was launched in May 2015 and is one of the tools most popular in its category. The service stores photos and videos “in the cloud”. That is, it makes a backup of all the files to have them as backup if they ever get lost. In addition, the application allows you to access files from any device connected to the Internet. This service has up to 15GB to use for free, so if you have a lot of photos you should save as much as possible.

What is the trick to have more space in Google Photos

By default, when you create a Google Photos account, files are uploaded in full size and quality, up to 16 megapixels, and videos at 1080p. To free up space, do the following:

  1. Go to the Web page from Google Photos
  2. Access to menu
  3. Gonna Storage
  4. Address Recover space
  5. Select More information
  6. Click on Convert photos and videos at storage saving quality
  7. Select Compress photos and videos available.

If the procedure was done correctly, the space will have increased.

In order for photos and videos to be automatically uploaded in compressed form, we must follow these steps:

  1. Go to the application from Google Photos on your cell phone
  2. Click on the avatar from the top right corner
  3. Gonna Settings from Google Photos already Backup
  4. Choose Backup Quality
  5. Click on storage saving
