What are ANSES PNCs?

Non-contributory pensions are economic benefits offered by the State to people who are in need, but who did not contribute enough to access a contributory pension. These pensions are designed to guarantee a basic level of income to elderly or disabled people who lack sufficient resources to live independently.

How to process PNC at ANSES

To apply for a Non-Contributory Pension, you must be Argentine, naturalized or a resident of the country; if you are a foreigner, you must present a minimum continuous residence of 10 years. You do not have to have a job in a dependent relationship, but you can work as a social sole proprietor.

Once the requirements are taken into account, it is necessary to request it through the Mi ANSES website or through an appointment at the ANSES physical offices.

How long does the process take?

It is assumed that this type of procedures are carried out in a short period of time, they are usually ready in a period of between three and six months in cases of common retirementswhile those differentials can extend up to one year at most.

In any case, each procedure and case is something personal that has its differences from the others. For this reason, it is always good to keep an eye on the status through My ANSES.
