Seven cars collided on the Dmitrov highway in Moscow. Two people were injured in the accident. It is reported on Friday, January 14, REN TV.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated, reports RT.
Earlier in the day, the Metropolitan traffic police reminded motorists that excessive window tinting increases the risk of accidents, especially at night and in bad weather.
In Russia, according to the requirements of the technical regulations on the safety of wheeled vehicles, the light transmission of windshields and front door windows must be at least 70%.
Now the fine for exceeding the norms for tinting car windows is 500 rubles. In this case, the inspector has the right to require the driver to remove the tinting from the windows of the car on the spot. If the motorist cannot do this, the police will issue a demand to the violator obliging him to remove the tint.
If the driver has ignored this requirement, then he is subject to administrative liability under Part 1 of Art. 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“Disobedience to a lawful order or demand of a police officer”).
Such an offense provides for a fine of 2-4 thousand rubles, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, or compulsory work for a period of 40 to 120 hours.
