On Friday, January 14, 1 million rubles were stolen from the Moscow apartment of the famous writer Yuri Pakhomov.
According to Izvestia, before the theft, he allegedly received a call from the Pension Fund and was told that the writer needed to sign compensation. Soon after the call, a girl came to Pakhomov, who, referring to the fact that she had forgotten the seal, stole 1 million rubles from under the writer’s pillow.
The police dog was unable to trace the intruder. In addition, it was not possible to detect it on CCTV cameras.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow stated that operational-search measures aimed at identifying and detaining criminals are currently being carried out.
A criminal case has been initiated.
Yuri Pakhomov is a Soviet and Russian writer. He is a laureate of international and all-Russian literary awards. Author of such works as “Vvedensky Canal”, “After the Storm”, “Father and Daughter” and others.
In November 2021, actor Nikolai Marimorovich was attacked in Moscow. A 32-year-old man was shot at and robbed. The incident took place on Ash Street. The actor received a gunshot wound to the lumbar region, as well as bruised head wounds.
