The prosecutor’s office will check the data on the residence of a man at the airport of Magadan

The prosecutor’s office of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug will check the information that a cook from Khabarovsk has been living at the Magadan airport for several days, for whom the employer did not pay for travel from the place of work, the department reported on January 15.

“An inspection was organized to publish in the media on the fact of residence of a resident of the city of Khabarovsk at the airport of the city of Magadan in connection with possible violations of labor laws by the employer,” the press service of the district prosecutor’s office specified.

Earlier, the prosecutor’s office accepted the appeal of the chef Vitaly Bibleev that the Arctic Catering Service company, which hired him to work on a rotational basis at the Dvoynoye field in the Chaunsky district in Chukotka, did not pay for his travel from the place of work to the collection point. This appeal was redirected to the State Labor Inspectorate in Moscow at the place of registration of the company.

According to Bibleev, the employer contacted him and is ready to send him to Khabarovsk today.

“I was hired for the position of sushi chef, this is a leadership position in the kitchen. And in fact and status, I turned out to be no higher than a handyman. In addition, I saw violations of SanPiN at the workplace, which I recorded, there were cases of disobedience and neglect. In response, they turned off the light in the workshop, created difficulties at work. As a result, I worked from December 27, and on December 30 I wrote a letter of resignation. Then they didn’t send me home for 12 days, they took me off flights twice, and only on January 12 they brought me to Magadan and left me here, ”the cook from Khabarovsk told the Vesma portal his story.

After that, the prosecutor’s office became interested in the circumstances of Bibleev’s work. The agency also intends to check the facts of violation of the requirements of the sanitary and epidemiological legislation by the Arctic Catering Service and the removal of a man from flights in the city of Pevek. Relevant requests were sent to the Rospotrebnadzor department for the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and the transport prosecutor of Magadan.

Last November, 600 people were stuck at Novosibirsk airport. The reason was the delay of Rossiya Airlines flight FV 5893 to Egyptian Sharm el-Sheikh for more than 12 hours. According to tourists, the airline did not inform them about the reasons for the delay in departure and did not provide decent conditions for waiting for the aircraft.
