Russian woman Maria Kim, who died during the pogroms in Kazakhstan, was returning home from work and carrying a cake to her children when she was shot at point-blank range not far from the entrance. Her brother Sergei told Izvestia about this on Friday, January 14.
“So far, nothing is known. She was walking home with a cake for the children. They killed her at the door. There was a point-blank shot. They have no connection, so we got through and were informed only on the 10th,” he said.
Now three children are with the mother-in-law of the deceased. The girl separated from her husband.
“She was the perfect mother, she did everything for her three children. And not only for their own. Even when she came to visit us, and did for ours. She wove from beads, arranged games and contests. Lighter man. She didn’t drink or smoke, she was a dandelion man, ”Sergey shared.
He said that a criminal case had been initiated into the murder.
“We called today. So far, nothing is known. A criminal case was opened, but I think that it is unlikely that anyone will be found. But if this happens, then the punishment should be, as expected, according to the law, ”said the brother of the deceased and expressed the hope that the state would help children left without a mother.
Earlier, Sergei said that the attack took place at the height of the protests, on January 6, in the city of Taraz, Zhambyl region. Maria’s father lives in this city. There she worked and studied.
