The pension agency announced an increase in retirements, pensions and allowances from October 2024. Find out the details.
The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced all the increases that will take place in October 2024, applying an increase of the 4.17% to retirements, pensions and allowances, within the framework of the mobility formula that adjusts salaries monthly based on inflation. Furthermore, it was confirmed the continuity of the extraordinary bonus of $70,000 for those who receive the minimum salaries, with the aim of alleviating the impact of inflation on the income of retirees and pensioners.
With this new setting, the minimum retirementwhich includes the bonus of $70,000will reach a total of $314,320.56providing temporary relief for the most vulnerable sectors of the retired population. Likewise, all family and universal allowances will also be increased, thus improving the income of the beneficiaries.

Amount of ANSES benefits in October 2024
With the increase of 4.17%retirements, pensions and allowances will have new amounts starting in October 2024. The updated values are detailed below:
- Minimum retirement: goes from $244,320.56 to $314,320.56including the bonus $70,000.
- Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM): go up to $265,456.45also considering the bonus of $70,000.
- Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) due to disability and old age: they reach $265,342.56 with the bonus included.
- Maximum retirement: increases to $1,644,160.70but not including the $70,000 bonus, which only applies to minimum assets.

This increase will also affect the family and universal allowanceswhich will receive the same increase from 4.17%:
- Universal Child Allowance (AUH): go up to $87,790.
- Universal Allowance for a Child with a Disability: reaches $285,866.
- Child Allowance: amounts to $43,896.
- Disabled Child Allowance: rises to $142,935.
