Admission campaign at the Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov will start on June 20 and will be held mainly in a remote format. This was stated by the rector of the university Viktor Sadovnichy.
“We will accept documents mainly remotely, they can be submitted from anywhere, for this you just need to go to the website of the selection committee and find out how to do it. Acceptance of documents begins on June 20, 2022, ”he said on January 16 as part of the open day.
The rector added that documents can be submitted through the electronic system of Moscow State University and the super service “Admission to the university online” on the public services portal.
Earlier, on November 23, Alexander Bastrykin, chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, expressed the opinion that the unified state exam (USE) should be cancelled. According to him, the exam is a real torture for young people.
Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, commenting on his words, said that on this issue “the truth is somewhere in the middle.” The USE, she said, is indeed a test, but thanks to it, many young people entered the most prestigious universities in the country.
Bastrykin’s statement about the abolition of the Unified State Examination was also commented on in the Kremlin. According to the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, the chairman of the UK “expressed his point of view.” He also noted that the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation carefully listen to all opinions and then independently build a line for the development of the Russian education system.
