Celine Dion’s concerts in North America have been canceled due to health concerns. The artist wrote about this on January 15 on her Twitter page.
“I really hoped that by this time I would feel better, but I guess I just need to be patient and follow the regime that the doctors prescribe for me,” — wrote she.
In a press release published by Dion, it is reported that the artist is forced to cancel her previously scheduled concerts from March 9 to April 22, 2022. All tickets purchased will be refunded.
Concerts in the framework of the world tour in support of the latest album of the singer Courage, scheduled from May 25, have not been canceled yet.
Prior to this, Dion had already canceled all performances from November 5 to 20, 2021 and from January 19 to February 5, 2022 due to muscle spasms.
In 2019, American singer Madonna announced the cancellation of three concerts in Boston due to “insurmountable pain”. Then she stated that she needed to rest and follow the instructions of the doctors in order to come back stronger and better.
